Low density polyethylene film is a translucent, lustrous, soft film texture, has excellent chemical stability, sealing resistance, water resistance and moistureproof, freezing resistance, can be boiled, its main disadvantage is the oxygen barrier is poor, often used in composite flexible packaging materials of the inner layer of the film，and it is also the most widely used and the largest amount of plastic packaging film, accounting for more than 40% of the consumption of plastic packaging film.

Because polyethylene molecules do not contain polar groups, that is, its surface is non-polar, and high crystallinity, low surface free energy, therefore, the printing performance of the film is poor, poor adhesion to ink and adhesives, therefore, in printing and composite before the need for surface treatment.
